Who is “Mellow Ian”??
Mellow Ian Rusnell. Keyboardist during the early years.
That’s cool that you include Jeff Robertson. Didn’t realize he ever played with the band. Just good jamming in the basement….
Adam Lowy also was a meat dancer for at least one show — at the Blind Pit, i think.
NO! wrong. Sorry. Delete that last one. Jordan Lowy was.
Jordan wasn’t a meat dancer actually. He was some sort of demented Christmas dancer … Crown of thorns, wrapped in X-mas lights, and a gift box with a tag that read “For Santa”.
Tony T. also danced once, albeit reluctantly, with veggies hung from a belt.
Thanks for remembering boys! That was some good fun Huh!
I miss Andy (Andrew) Jackson! Oh and about Jordan. Room mate Greatful Dead enthiast, crown of thorns and Christmas Lights!! Hey Nancarrow! Where are you?
Where can we get Loungecats t-shirts?
I have a few from those early days but maybe contact Dave Renneker (Captain Dave) aka Mr. Dinners.
Thanks for posting all of this music. I’m tripping out to “Morey’s Head” right now. I used to think I could change the speed and intensity of reality with the knobs on the nice strobe light- especially at the Blue Room of the “Paradise Lounge”
Bill Urban from East Oakland ( Formerly A2)
Great site guys. Lots of good shows. Hope everyone is doing well.
