Once upon a time there was no such thing as the “Internet” and bands around America existed mostly in local scenes. Vast numbers of bands from this ancient era disappeared without a digital trace, leaving behind no web pages, mp3s, or CDRs. So here’s an attempt to bring one band back from that distant analog time of cassettes and 7 inch vinyl.

Recordings made by Captain Dave & the Psychedelic Lounge Cats are available on this site for free, just the click the “Recordings” pages to the right. You can click on the song title to hear or download.

There are more recordings on the way…some more live “on the radio” recordings, studio recordings from Ann Arbor and San Francisco and maybe even some live recordings.
