In the early days of cds, most unsigned indie bands could not really afford to produce a cd and often released 7 inch singles or cassettes. The Lounge Cats released one 7 inch single and three cassettes during their time in Ann Arbor, and in San Francisco recordings were made for a cd release, a project that never came to fruition.
